Equestrian Camps

Edgelea has developed an Equestrian Camp Program to give your junior rider an opportunity to learn classical horsemanship in a fun, safe and structured environment. Campers are under vigilant adult supervision. Our knowledgeable and courteous staff offers unique opportunities to learn these horsemanship skills:

•  Horse Treansportation
•  Equine Health Care
•  Preparing For Competition

Each camp day consists of rotations that include:

•   Grooming and Tacking
•   Riding Lesson
•   Stable Management
•   Classroom Lesson
•   Games

Guest speakers give interactive presentations so campers get some up-close, hands-on experience. Equestrian record books are kept by each camper with daily entries. These record books often become a valuable reference tool for your future equestrians. Camp counselors provide a fun, safe atmosphere for children to explore the world of horses. Adult one and two day “camps” are also conducted regularly.

                                  Field Trips

Field trips are scheduled throughout the year to destinations including veterinary hospitals, specialized training centers, tack shops, feed stores and upper level competitions.
